Nehemiah Ministries
In the early days we started out as an organization called Nehemiah Ministries. A ministry poised to help those with a vision to bring positive change in their communities. Our mission is to equip the saints with an effective application of the message of Jesus Christ that brings hope and opportunity to the children and families in at-risk communities. Nehemiah Ministries goals are:
The Nehemiah Program Model developed at the Nehemiah Center in Houston, Texas is a multifaceted ministry model utilizing education, emotional wellness and spiritual enrichment to provide assistance for low-income families who are invested in the seeking a better future for their children. This program model can be replicated in every community that has a heart for helping its neighbor. For 4 years Nehemiah Ministries shared what people began to call the “empowerment” model with organization and churches around Houston and the surrounding area.
